Diana Carl is the Director of Assistive Technology and Preview Services at Region IV Education Service Center (ESC) in Houston, TX. Region IV ESC provides professional development and technical assistance to fifty-four independent school districts in seven counties with a combined student population of approximately 861,000. In 1996, Region IV ESC was designated by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to serve as the lead center and provide statewide leadership in the area of assistive technology.
Ms. Carl serves as the lead facilitator of the Texas Statewide assistive technology Network, which is a collaborative project between the twenty educational service centers and TEA.
